At IRSIG-CNR, empirical research projects are the key tool to improve the knowledge of the functioning justice systems and the understanding of their dynamics of innovation and change. The research methods used are mainly empirical and comparative, with an interdisciplinary approach, which involves the intertwining of different fields of knowledge such as law, organisational theory, political science, management, information and communication technology, public policy analysis, sociology, and social psychology.
