Structure of research activity

The research activity of the Institute is organized in three main research fields, within which there are several "research lines".

In particular the research fields are:
♦ Governance of judicial systems (research coordinator Prof. Giuseppe Di Federico)
♦ Organization, innovation and justice (research coordinator Dr. Marco Fabri)
♦ Youth justice system and restorative justice (research coordinator Dr. Anna Mestitz)




The three research fields are included in the Projects n°6 of the CNR Department 'Identità Culturale' (DIC) called: Law, technological innovation, and legal culture.

The research fields in short:
 

Governance, institutional setting, justice

Stretta-di-manoResearch projects are based on comparative analyses of: judicial governance institutions (such as judicial councils and ministries of justice).

The focus of our research is the relations among normative, institutional, organizational, and technological practices that characterize the functioning of justice systems and proceses of innovation and change within them.
